Service Description

There is nothing more empowering than feeling comfortable and at ease in your own skin. Yet, in our "hurry-up" culture, that ease is often lost — especially after the holidays wrap up — leaving us feeling exhausted and depleted, beyond the everyday stress we carry within us. This 4 class series, centers on recalibrating the nervous system and is an invitation to be present for time to restore physiological nourishment, mindfully release tension, replenish energy, and relearn the art of relaxation. Classes combine: Slow Somatic Movement & Self-Massage – unwind patterns of stress held in the body. Guided Restorative Positions with Props – supported positions held just long enough for deep release alongside guided-instruction that is simple, insightful, therapeutically potent and applicable to lived experiences. Beginner-Friendly Meditation – explore breathing, mantra, mudra, and guided body scanning as simple gateways into comfort, presence, stillness, calm and clarity. You’ll cultivate a deeper awareness of body and mind, learn how to become present-moment minded, regulate your nervous system, build confidence in yoga theory and meditation, and unwind fatigue and tension as you "feel" how restorative practices can recharge your energy and transform stress into calm. This series is taught online using Zoom. There are two ways to participate — students can practice along during the livestream class or, practice on your own time to the weekly class recording. Students will have access to all class recordings as they accumulate as the series progresses, and the full 8-class recording library for a bonus 4 weeks once the series ends. Students who practice during the livestream will not appear on the class recording. Have someone in mind who could also benefit? Once registered, send me an email with the name and email address of 1 friend, and I'll sign them up for the same number of classes in the style of practice of their choice for FREE. To create your home practice space for this floor-based series, simply set up your laptop or tablet for eye-level viewing, near an area with blank wall space. A few basic yoga props will be helpful: a strap or band, a yoga blanket or thicker beach towel (2 is even nicer), a tennis ball or similarly sized therapy ball, 2 yoga blocks an eye-pillow, and a yoga bolster (or dense torso-length cushion or pillow that can support your upper body weight). Upon booking, you will receive an email with further information.
